The EIABM
Since 1990, the European Institute for Advanced Behavioural Management at Saarland University (Europa-Institut, Sektion Wirtschaftswissenschaft, Universität des Saarlandes) offers the postgraduate MBA study programme “European Management”, which was the first study programme at a German university leading to MBA degree. Conscious of its tradition, the study programme at the Business Department of the Europa-Institut is characterized by an explicit European focus, internationality and practice-orientation.
The MBA programme “European Management” was awarded the “UdS-Qualitätspass” in 2015 and 2020 as part of the system accreditation of Saarland University.
For more than 30 years, future managers have profited from an education that prepares them to deal with the requirements of tomorrow’s Europe. Besides the focus on Europe, our programme builds on the grounds of “Behavioural Management” (“Verhaltensorientiertes Management”): Our research and our teaching focus on the behaviour of people and markets (“Menschen und Märkte”).
Companies are successful if, and only if, they understand people in their role as consumer, customer, employee and decision maker. Our MBA Programme “European Management”, which can be completed either in full-time (12 months) or in part-time (up to 4 years), offers the skillset to do so.
